1- inch cinnamon stick
For Tempering :
2 soupspoons ghee or vegetable oil painting
2 ladles cumin seeds( jeera)
1- 2 green chilies, cut lengthwise( voluntary)
small onion, finely sliced( voluntary)
Fresh cilantro leaves for trim( voluntary)
Step- by- Step Instructions :
Step-1- Prepare Rice
Rinse the basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear to remove redundant bounce.
Soak the irrigated rice in water for 30 twinkles to allow it to absorb humidity and cook unevenly.
In a large pot, bring water to a pustule over medium-high heat.
Add swab, bay splint, green cardamom capsules, cloves, and cinnamon stick to the scorching water.
Drain the soaked rice and add it to the scorching water.
Cook the rice until it’s 70- 80 done. The grains should still have a slight bite to them.
Once cooked, drain the rice and discard the whole spices. Spread the rice on a large plate to cool and help sticking.
Step-2- Tempering
Heat ghee or vegetable oil painting in a large skillet or visage over medium heat.
Add cumin seeds to the hot oil painting and let them expectorate, releasing their aroma and flavour.
